Movie of the Same NameEdit
An IP user added this:
- It is possible that the characters name was inspired by H.R.Giger, a famous artist responsible for the design of the alien in the movie with the same name.
- H.R. Giger designed the alien in 1979's Alien. That's what the anon meant. --From Andoria with Love 05:07, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Good catch. That note isn't cited, but I'm assuming it's from the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion because it was added at the same time as several other notes from that book. If someone could confirm this that would be great.
Of course, the two notes aren't mutually exclusive. But if one is cited and one isn't, we should ditch the uncited "possibility" in favour of Moore's explanation.– Cleanse 23:58, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- Removed the comment(as posted at the top) as speculative("It is possible") unless cited.--31dot 14:38, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I could go either way on the usage but it is ugly with the text across it. I'm not sure that is fair use, either(maybe it is). 31dot (talk) 10:53, April 7, 2015 (UTC)
Biography from UK VHS release Edit
I suppose this is a long-shot but if anybody has the DS9 Season 5 UK VHS release, would they mind digging out his biography insert and adding the info to the "background" section, that is if there's anything noteworthy? Thanks! --| TrekFan Open a channel 17:10, April 16, 2015 (UTC)
