Table or gallery Edit
(Once we get pictures of Dermal regenerators) I think we should have a table similar to Jeffrey Combs#Appearances, because a great MANY number of props have been used to represent the Dermal regenerator. This of coarse will wait till we get pictures of them...-AJHalliwell 20:58, 28 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- We could also use the feature <gallery> which automatically creates a table of equal width and height, because the table on Jeffrey Combs looks a bit too misaligned (same for Picard Maneuver. See de:Memory Alpha:Sandbox if you want to learn about its usage. -- Kobi - (Talk) 21:02, 28 Jun 2005 (UTC)
For cosmetic surgery as well?Edit
My memory is fuzzy, but aren't dermal regenerators also used to create fake dermal injuriesto deceive others? I could swear Neelix saying he was handy with a dermal regenerator and used one to create the illusion of a plasma burn on Seven of Nine in Warhead (episode). - Intricated 01:47, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Were dermal regenerators ever seen prior to the 24th century?Edit
Were dermal regenerators ever seen prior to the 24th century? Having seen everything but ENT, I can't answer for the 22nd century, though I'm pretty sure that we didn't see any in the 23rd. I believe on at least one occasion we saw Captain Kirk wearing a big bulky bandage after being stabbed by an Orion disguised as an Andorian (TOS: "Journey to Babel"), which would seem to somewhat preclude the possibility of dermal regenerators being in existence at that point, especially in light of McCoy's comments to the effect of "careful with that or it will start bleeding again".
Anyway, I figured I'd ask in case anyone has a fresher memory of such instances in TOS where a dermal regenerator would be useful, as well as in ENT (where I'm pretty sure that they don't have dermal regenerators, but again I'm not positive since I haven't actually seen it). :-)
Thanks, -Mdettweiler 03:11, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Better suited to Talk:Dermal regenerator don't you think? -- sulfur 03:17, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
Aren't talk pages supposed to be only for stuff specifically regarding the article, with the forum being for questions like this? -Mdettweiler 03:20, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Well if they were seen in the 23rd century, that should be referenced in the article. :-) – Cleanse 03:34, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
I'd guessed as much, but figured I'd ask to see if anyone knew of any more conclusive evidence than my earlier mention of Kirk's bandaged wound to support that they didn't have dermal regenerators in the 23rd century (and therefore the 22nd as well). -Mdettweiler 13:59, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
