Should some discussion be made that Cobalt Diselenide is incorrect chemical nomenclature? A combound of cobalt and selenium would be Cobalt Selenide. Selenide has a -2 charge, so it would probably be CoS or Cobalt (II) selenide. Cobalt "Diselenide), implying 2 selinide atoms, would be called "Cobalt (IV) Selenide". --<unsigned>

Star Trek is so full of chemical nomenclature errors (Dilithium) that it probably is not worth noting them all. --OuroborosCobra talk 19:10, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Apparently it isn't so terrible nomenclature [1]. --OuroborosCobra talk 06:32, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
