:It can't be. While science is currently leaning toward a universe that continues to expand, we don't actually know enough about the amount of Dark Matter or the nature of Dark Energy to come up with a definitive answer. In addition, Star Trek is not the real universe, and countless scientific rules don't seem to apply there as they do here. The Big Bang probably didn't look like this, for example, nor could it have been observed from "outside" as Voyager did, since there would not have been an "outside." Lastly, a comment would not be suitable for the article per MA:NIT. --OuroborosCobra <span style="color:#00FF00;">talk</span> 03:08, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

The End of the Universe?

I came across a YouTube video of Star Trek mistakes and the Jack Pack's Big Crunch projects comes up at 2:06 indicating that before the episode was made, scientific study established that the universe will NEVER stop expanding. Where can this be corroborated. – Enterprise1981 02:45, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

It can't be. --OuroborosCobra talk 03:08, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
