Do Cardassians do the trick? Edit

Or just Odo? The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).

I would presume so, otherwise it wouldn't be called such. 31dot 11:27, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
The Noodle Incident of Star Trek. Amazing to behold, but never shown. The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).
Odo is the only one who does it because that's the trick, that he can actually create a Cardassian neck. — Morder (talk) 03:31, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
Uh, I think the trick has to be a lot more than just Odo making a neck. Everyone doesn't marvel every day at his "Humanoid legs trick". Anyway, my opinion is that it's a "Cardassian trick" involving their necks, and that Odo is famous for givin' it a lil' somethin' else. SennySix 07:59, October 30, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah- Odo's informant from Improbable Cause said he was "so good at it", which suggests that the informant had knowledge of others (i.e. Cardassians) performing it not so good.--31dot 23:40, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

I have always assumed that from the name description and Quarks visual immitation, that all odo really did was to change the shape of his own neck so that it became elongated and had pronounced high ridges on either side, as though to appear that he was imitating a cardassian neck. 22:13, February 11, 2015 (UTC)
