MergeEdit

I really don't see the value of this list, we could make a category similar to Category:Earth art I guess, but for now I propose to merge this with art. Kennelly (talk) 14:55, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

Honestly I think the category option is better. there's currently no sections listing all art subjects per species on art. So either awkwardly shove a single such section in, or you distribute the items to the relevant sections (where they probably already are) and thereby lose the whole point of this page. -- Capricorn (talk) 02:30, February 20, 2016 (UTC)
There are probably more not on the list. I like the category idea, too. --LauraCC (talk) 19:08, June 7, 2016 (UTC)
The problem with a category is that "Earth art" was actually just for visual art, which is why it was renamed. There isn't a catch-all "Earth arts" category for the three different arts categories: Category:Earth literature, Category:Earth visual art, and Category:Earth music, and there aren't enough pages to warrant categories if the Cardassian list was broken down by these subjects. - Archduk3 18:01, September 30, 2016 (UTC)
But, just because the Earth arts are plenty enough to be broken up doesn't mean the Cardassian counterpart can't be a catch-all, doesn't it? -- Capricorn (talk) 05:18, October 1, 2016 (UTC)
If you want to decrease the number of categories on a page, which is what the Earth arts cats do, by being both the "Earth" and the "art" category, then a "Cardassian art" category won't work. Any catch all category would only be replacing the "Cardassia" category, since the pages would still need to be in their respected arts cats. Placing people in the new category is right out too. - Archduk3 00:25, October 15, 2016 (UTC)
