Are you sure CAPCOM was a reference to the game company? It appears that most of the departments and/or positions on that directory were references to NASA ISS and shuttle terms, i.e.:

  • CAPCOM - Capsule Communicator
  • TELMU - Telemetry, Electrical, EVA Mobility Unit Officer
  • PDRS - Payload Deployment and Retrieval System
  • EVA - Extravehicular Activity Officer
  • EECOM - Electrical, Environmental and Consumables Manager
  • ADCO - Attitude Determination and Control Officer
  • MMACS - Mechanical, Maintenance, Arm, and Crew Systems
  • PAO - Public Affairs Officer
  • B'KR - ?
  • AHNA - ?
  • BFETT - Boba Fett?
  • ODIN - Onboard Data, Interfaces and Networks
  • EGIL - Electrical Generation and Integrated Lighting Systems Engineer
  • APO - ?
  • ACO - Assembly and Checkout Officer
  • ORC - ?
  • RSA - ?
  • ECLSS - Environmental Control and Life Support System
  • INCO - Integrated Communications Officer
  • THOR - Thermal Operations and Resources
  • CATO - Communication and Tracking Officer
  • PHALCON - Power, Heating, Articulation, Lighting Control Officer
  • OSO - Operations Support Officer
  • OP - ?
