Irish?[]
Since the article was first created, it has been stated that Ryan was an Irishman. I seemed to recall him speaking with an Irish dialect, but now I'm not I'm not too sure, and since neither the script nor the episode states he was Irish, I have removed the reference for now. If he was not Irish, then referring to him as an Irishman and a racist could be (and has been) seen as racist. If he is Irish, though, then the reference should be added back, as that is a part of the character's description. Anyone got proof he was Irish? (Preferably something more concrete than the fact that Ryan is an Irish name ;)) --From Andoria with Love 03:20, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- I don't remember an Irish accent, though I should point out "Irish" would be inaccurate as he seemed to be American, so "Irish-American." For that matter, for all we know Marc Alaimo's "New York-accent" just isn't that good, and sounded Irish. Not that I don't fully appreciate Mr. Alaimo's acting skills, just a possibility... - AJ Halliwell 04:14, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
