Captainmike: why the move of the original page to plain Brack and this redirect instead? Nothing links to Brack directly, and there's another Brack, Micah Brack, which may be but is not certain to be the same. Adds confusion if you ask me.

"Mister" is a title -- it is an improper naming convention to include it in an atricle title, just as Lt. Worf is improper and Worf is preferred -- Brack is the man's name
Who is Micah Brack? -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 08:08, 30 Mar 2005 (EST)

No pages link the Mr. Brack anymore -- it will probably be deleted soon -- all instances now lead to the correct name -- Brack -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 08:16, 30 Mar 2005 (EST)

I've double checked -- "Micah Brack" seems to be the name the Mr. Brack was referred to in a novel -- so it is not under consideration for inclusion on this site, sorry. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 09:22, 30 Mar 2005 (EST)
Is only canon information included? I believe I've seen snippets of novel info here and there, too.
It is AFAICT not an established fact that Micah Brack and the Flint alias Brack are the same. Micah Brack had a public life around mid 21st century from a google search (late 2050s - early 2060s) which is some 80 years before Mr. Brack bought Holberg 917G; supposedly he wasn't a youngster anymore even then, either. While it wouldn't be impossible given that Mr. Brack was an immortal, it would have made him suspicious being that long-lived when he bought the planet, so it could be assumed they were in fact not the same person.
That Micah Brack from the 2050s comes from the novel Federation (novel) and doesn't matter here. You can blame the authors of the novel for not paying attention on the time difference. -- Kobi - (Talk) 09:04, 31 Mar 2005 (EST)
I know this discussion is ancient, but I had to respond to this. If Flint was Micah Brack, a wealthy industrialist who "disappeared" after assassination attempts, he presumably went on to life as either Abramson or Sten, and when the time came to buy the planet, assumed the name Brack (as one of his descendants) to use the Brack fortune as capital. That much has been alluded to by the novelists, so don't go saying they "didn't pay attention." --TimPendragon 21:22, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
