Name origin Edit

When was this referred to as the Battle of the Briar Patch? -- From Andoria with Love 11:12, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

To be fair, very few of the names of battles here were ever called by what we've named them. For example, I don't really consider the Battle of Veridian III to be a battle. Its more like "the Enterprise takes a pounding". -- Tough Little Ship 11:18, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Another example that comes to mind is Battle of the Bassen Rift. Eh, I guess it's fine. One might ask, where else would we put it? -- From Andoria with Love 11:42, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Where was it implied that Section 31 were involved in relocating the Ba'ku? I remember hearing Dougherty saying there was top brass authority involved but I don't think that's good enough to speculate that he was referring to Section 31 and I though speculation is discouraged here? -- Scimitar 16:01, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
I believe this was mentioned in one of the novels, but that is non-canon. I'll remove the line. -- OuroborosCobra talk 17:01, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Shouldn't both this page and Battle of Klach D'kel Brakt link to eachother as a "You may also be looking for..." reference? After all, if "Briar Patch" and "Klach D'Kel Brakt" are synonyms, then the "Battles of" essentially are too. I'm hesitant to add the links though, considering the fierce debate in the past on the Briar Patch issue. Any thoughts? -- Defstar 15:27, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
