Apes?[]
if all this stuff is true why can't the scientists prove that we came from apes or what ever? – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.207.139.71.
- Not that it matters for the purposes of this site, but, um, science is pretty damn sure humans descended from apes (strictly speaking, we're still apes now, just a rather hairless, brainy variety). --Wolff359 06:15, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, the anon that made that comment is probably a product of the wonderful creationist filled American education system. --OuroborosCobra talk 06:16, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Why this?[]
Legitimate question. Why they saying Riker became an Australopithecus? An Australopithecus would have been about 4 feet tall and built more like a chimp. Riker looked more like a Neanderthal, or maybe a Homo rhodesiensis (the last confirmed common ancestor between humans and Neanderthals). – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Blair2009 (talk • contribs).
- That's what was said in the ep by Data. Therefore, that's what he was. Regardless of height or proper science. -- sulfur 00:08, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
