• Interestingly, both Shran and Tiron were played by Jeffrey Combs. Judging from the size of the glasses used to drink Andorian ale, and the expressions of people drinking it, it can be assumed that it has higher alcohol content than Human ales.

Interesting and speculation. — Morder (talk) 20:12, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

I removed the following speculation, "It seems to have been stronger than other ales." I also removed the following sentence (which seemed to refer to Shran in "Proving Ground"), "Earlier in the episode he states he. 'took the liberty of adding a few extra bugs.'" I'm not sure what that has to do with Andorian ale. It's definitely written from an incorrect perspective, arranged out of chronological order and worded from the viewpoint of reality even though it was presented in the article's in-universe info. --Defiant (talk) 08:32, March 18, 2016 (UTC)

Chakotay's Andorian AleEdit

As for examples, I think commander Chakotay had a stashed bottle of old andorian ale somewhere onboard Voyager. He was hiding it from Neelix in borg cargo bay. 15:25, November 30, 2012 (UTC)

Just in case anyone else was wondering the same thing, the above is actually referring to Antarian cider from the episode "Shattered". --| TrekFan Open a channel 06:16, January 29, 2014 (UTC)
