:Done. There's actually canon claims to the contrary. Archer became a honorary member of the Imperial Guard in 2164, 3 years after the Federation was founded. (not the strongest of evidences though) And they also call it the Andorian Guard, not Andorian Imperial Guard. So we could instead have a note that it was renamed to the Andorian Guard after the foundation of the federation. --[[User:Dalen|Dalen]] 22:08, 18 May 2006 (UTC) |

+ | :Regarding Bajors joining of the Federation Admiral Watley says that the hard part begins after they've signed the declaration, and lists absorbing the Bajoran milita into Starfleet as one of the things that need to be done. That would indicate that it's customary to merge local militias with starfleet, but on the other hand the rule might have changed between 2164 and 2373. --[[User:Dalen|Dalen]] 14:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC) |

needs a section on imperial command perhapse? --Talah
Has the rank of Captain ever being attributed to the Andorian Imperial Guard. I don't think it has, but I've refined from making the correction myself, as I'm not 100% sure. If anyone has evidence to the contrary please, enlighten me. -- Pheon
- Telev in "Cease Fire" identified himself as "Captain".
"When a Guardsman dies far from home, it is his compatriots duty to take a piece of the fallen back with them to Andoria (ex: a vile of their blood). This item is placed at the foot of the Wall of Heroes. (ENT: "United")." Did it say that the item was placed at the base of the wall? I assumed that it being a world of ice, the blood could be used to make a wall of heros. If it did say that it was placed at the foot of the wall and I missed it, then I am clearly in the wrong, but if it didn't we should reword it, to leave open the possiblity that my theory, or some other explanation is correct. I don't think they made a wall out of blood. Besides blood is just one option, Shran says a part of the fallen is taken back. I personally imagined something along the lines of the Vietnam Memorial, but I will change it. As neither of us should assume anything. ;) --Talah Blue 22:48, 5 Feb 2005 (CET)
And a wall of frozen blood? Thats just gross. Not to mention a giant biohazard. What if someone had Andorian AIDS? --Talah Blue 22:51, 5 Feb 2005 (CET)
