Move Edit

This could be at "Amazon Rainforest", so a disambiguation page could be here covering this, Amazon River, and - Archduk3 12:54, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Was she referring to the "basin" or the "rainforest" when she said the single word "Amazon"? -- sulfur 13:01, February 8, 2011 (UTC)
Disagree with the move suggestion - apparently, we only have two article titles that even share the "Amazon" part, and only one of them uses it as its "natural, full" title. Additionally, both articles refer to each other, anyway. There's no need to create a third page to act as a redirect here. -- Cid Highwind 14:28, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Considering the River was mentioned already in the episode's script, during a deleted scene, I would say the intention was the rainforest, as the average viewer wouldn't make a distinction between the rainforest and basin. Also, anyone meaning to "see the wildlife" would have to go into the rainforest, as any section of the basin that's not the rainforest would be developed, and unlikely to have as much wildlife. That said, all three of the articles we will have use Amazon as the colloquial name, so each is likely to be the target a reader was looking for. - Archduk3 21:58, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

I think that, since we mention the river in the first sentence here, we should just have a disambig over to the online store at the top, and we'll be fine. No real need to create a disambig just because. Less complexity is better. -- sulfur 22:05, February 8, 2011 (UTC)

Assuming this is a tributary OF the river, since it has to be OF something, shouldn't the note here be amended and its full version be at Amazon River? --LauraCC (talk) 19:13, March 2, 2016 (UTC)

Removed noteEdit

In an interview with Forbes magazine, Joel Harlow compared Jaylah's features to an Amazonian warrior. [1]
Pretty sure they weren't comparing her to a warrior from the Amazon forest, but rather these galls. So it isn't relevant. -- Capricorn (talk) 19:24, August 24, 2017 (UTC)
