I changed the intro from "he holds the record for directing" to "he holds the distinction of" directing the three series finales (DS9, VOY, ENT).
First, there was no citation indicating this feat is a "record". Second, there was no context or explanation about what this "record" is. I assume it was intended to mean he holds the record for directing the most Trek series finales (three out of five/six, depending on whether we're including TAS). But with only five live action Trek series, stating he directed three of them implicitly indicates he directed more such finales than anyone. It's readily inferred, and describing it as a "record" seems unnecessary (though it is certainly interesting and noteworthy). A more typical type of "record" to point out is one not immediately obvious: for example, the record for directing the most episodes, the most overall TV series finales, or directing the most episodes that featured, say, Romulans. Those sorts of "records" are more useful to explicitly state as such, at least IMO. :)
Just my $0.02. Please change back if necessary (with an explanation, please). :)
