"Beyond The Farthest Star" should be listed first to adhere to the format of listing TAS episodes in airdate order (although I would personally prefer to list them in production order, but I don't want to open that can of worms!)
I'm relatively new to the Star Trek franchise and haven't watched TAS yet. I've just started with TOS and am planning to watch all way through to ENT. still being in the planning stages to make sure I watch every episode of Trek in the correct in-universe chronology, I got confused when I reached TAS.
What's the reason for listing the episodes of TAS in this particular order? Neither the episode numbers nor the stardates seem to match up. And which order is the correct or "official" one? Episode numbers, stardates or Memory Alpha's variant? 18.104.22.168 18:57, September 14, 2009 (UTC)
- The TAS episodes are listed in production order - i.e. the order they were made in, rather than the order they were broadcast in, which is very different. This is, I assume (since I didn't add the episodes in myself), to be consistent with the ordering of the Original Series, which is also in production order. -- Michael Warren | Talk 06:30, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
