I don't know about anyone else, but I seem to have a real issue with this type of year event page; in this case, essentially the whole storyline of Star Trek is summarized. Do we really want that on these year pages? Would all of these "events" really be considered landmarks by most people (i.e. Archivists in the far future)? -- Renegade54 (talk) 21:25, September 5, 2014 (UTC)

I had a go at it, some things weren't even in the right order (Uhura was not chief comms officer when Chekov was posted on the bridge for example). The only thing I'm not sure of is the Kobayashi Maru test, but given we don't know when Kirk beat it in the prime reality, I think it was prudent to list it here rather than have it not be on the timeline at all. --Alientraveller (talk) 09:59, September 6, 2014 (UTC)

Age requirement?Edit

Here's the quote:

T'SHANIK: You do not look as if you meet the age requirements. WESLEY: Uh, I'll be sixteen next month.

That doesn't necessarily mean the age requirement was 16. It might have been 14 and she thought he looked like a pre-teen. Besides, chronological age is arbitrary when some species mature faster/slower than others. --LauraCC (talk) 18:33, August 12, 2016 (UTC)
