T'Shanik was a female Vulcan from Vulcana Regar.
In 2364, T'Shanik was one of the Starfleet Academy hopefuls who took the Starfleet Academy entrance exam on Relva VII, along with Wesley Crusher and Oliana Mirren. All three of them lost out to Mordock.
Upon meeting Crusher, she commented that he did not look old enough to meet the age requirement for the exam. Later, she congratulated Mordock on his win. (TNG: "Coming of Age")
T'Shanik was played by Tasia Valenza.
Originally, this character was to have been a Klingon named "Kronos". She was changed to a Vulcan at the behest of Robert Justman.
According to the story "Making A Difference" in the Star Trek: New Frontier anthology No Limits, she had graduated the Academy in 2370 and served as a flight controller on the USS Excalibur.
