Stoney Westmoreland is the actor who portrayed the warlord in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Muse".

Westmoreland was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and has been married to Beth Brinker. The couple has moved to Marina Del Rey, California a few years ago. He had his first experiences in this business with television commercials for several companies.

Prior to his performance in Voyager, Westmoreland had guest roles in the television series Townies (1996, with Steve Kehela), NewsRadio (1997, along regulars Stephen Root and Andy Dick), Ink (1997), Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (1998), and Seven Days (1998, with Norman Lloyd, Alan Scarfe, Jerome Butler, Gina Philips, and Nicolas Surovy). He also played supporting roles in Roland Emmerich's science fiction thriller Godzilla (1998, which also features Lloyd Kino, Glenn Morshower, and Clyde Kusatsu) and the television action film Inferno (1998, with Stephanie Niznik, Tucker Smallwood, Denney Pierce, and Sharisse Baker-Bernard).

After recurring guest roles in Providence (2000-2001, alongside Michael Spound and Paul Dooley) and That's Life (2000-2001, with Kristin Bauer, Paul Sorvino, Peggy Miley, Joseph Campanella, Lorinne Vozoff, Nicholas Guest, Scarlett Pomers, and Mary Mara), Westmoreland appeared in the romantic comedy Tortilla Soup (2001), the comedies Bug (2002, with Ed Begley, Jr., Brett Rickaby, Guy Siner, and Wade Williams), The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest (2002, with Dan Butler and Brent Hinkley), and Ridley Scott's Matchstick Men (2003, with Bruce McGill, and Tim Kelleher). Further television series performances include Gilmore Girls (2003, with Bob Clendenin), Las Vegas (2003, along Nikki Cox, Jack Kehler, Daniel Hugh Kelly, and stunts by Todd Bryant), Crossing Jordan (2004, with Miguel Ferrer, Susan Gibney, Lisa Kaminir, and Don McManus), Rodney (2004, with Amy Pietz and Van Epperson), and Related (2006, with John Prosky and Anne Elizabeth Ramsay). Also on his resume are the television drama Phenomenon II (2003, with Terry O'Quinn), the comedy Outing Riley (2004), and Oliver Stone's drama World Trade Center (2006, with Jude Ciccolella, Tom Wright, Donna Murphy, and Susie Stillwell).

More recently, Westmoreland portrayed guest characters in the television series Supernatural (2008) and CSI:Miami (2008).
