Steven Rogers is a visual effects artist who worked as digital and visual effects artist and supervisor for Eden FX between 2000 and 2004 on all four seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise. In 2002, he received an Emmy Award nomination in the category Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series for the first season episode "Breaking the Ice", shared with Adam Buckner, John Gross, Paul Hill, Adam Howard, Greg Rainoff, Fred Pienkos, Eddie Robison, and David Stipes. Rogers previously worked as digital artist on Star Trek: Voyager. [1] [2]
In 2004, Rogers earned a Visual Effects Society Award nomination in the category Outstanding Matte Painting in a Televised Program, Music Video, or Commercial for his work on the NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service pilot episode "Yankee White" (2003, working with Eddie Robison, Matt Scharf, and Dane Allan Smith). Between 2003 and 2004, Rogers worked as visual effects artist and supervisor on several episodes of NCIS.
Prior to his employment at Eden FX, Rogers worked for Film Roman, Foundation Imaging, Digital Muse, and Rhythm & Hues. Later, he worked for Zoic Studios, Radical 3D, Stargate Digital and since 2008 as Animation Lead and Head of R&D at Lousy Slave Productions. [3]
