Real world article
(written from a Production point of view)

Steven Bové is a comic book artist. He worked in production for DC Comics while they held the Star Trek license, and was credited for "production" on both issues of Who's Who in Star Trek. He also contributed the art for the article on Vina in the second issue.

Born in New York, he started drawing at an early age with plans to become a comic book artist. By the 1980s, he had made the transition from being a production artist to illustrating and writing. After a four-year run with DC Comics, he became interested in computer art and began working on comic strips, advertising, and magazines for print and internet.

He released the Comic Cartoonist's Workbook in 2005 and for day, for night in 2011. He occasionally teaches a course associated with the workbook and creates storyboards for commercials and videos. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, daughter, and cat.

His latest Star Trek endeavor is fantasy book covers dealing with T'Pol as an espionage agent. [1]
