Steven Harvey Firchow (born 30 June 1966; age 57) is a comic book artist specializing in colors from New Guinea.

He moved to California in 1982 and graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 1991 with a BFA in Illustration. In 1994, he began working for Homage Studios before moving to Top Cow in 1995. [1]

Since working at Top Cow, he also freelanced for Image, Dark Horse, Mattel, Sega, Wizards of the Coast, and others. He also works in the video game industry and his first job was Call of Duty: Finest Hour doing storyboards and textures. Since then, he was the Art Directory for Legendary, and then worked for BigFishGames. Most recently, he has worked for WBGames as a senior concept artist on Lord of the Rings: War in the North. [2]

Some of the titles he has worked on include The Darkness, Hunter-Killer, New X-Men, Witchblade, Tomb Raider, and Cyberforce.

In 1996, he was one of the color artists for Star TreX from Marvel Comics.
