A station manager was a manager position who was responsible for overseeing a space station.
In 2268, the civilian station manager of Deep Space Station K-7, Mister Lurry, who was, according to Captain James T. Kirk, in charge of the matter of allowing the crew of the visiting Klingon warship IKS Gr'oth to invoke shore leave rights. Lurry, however, took Kirk aside and explained that "I don't want them here, but I don't have the authority to refuse." (TOS: "The Trouble with Tribbles") While time traveling with several other crew members from Deep Space 9, Kira Nerys observed Koloth and Korax's beam out from the Klingon ship. In 2373, Bahrat was the station manager of a station near the Nekrit Expanse. Bahrat's role aboard the station was to monitor all activities that took place there, including having final say over any trade transactions conducted on his station, in which he received a twenty percent commission on. (VOY: "Fair Trade")
In 2376, Kathryn Janeway blamed the Markonian outpost's station manager for not telling her that a plant she had been given had prehensile vines. (VOY: "Survival Instinct")
