The Star Cross was a medal awarded to members of Starfleet for distinguished actions.

It was one of many commendations Jonathan Archer earned during his career. (ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II")

Another recipient of this medal was Captain Philippa Georgiou, in the 23rd century. This medal was displayed on the wall opposite her desk in her ready room aboard the USS Shenzhou in 2256. (DIS: "The Vulcan Hello")

Sometime during his service in Starfleet, Christopher Pike was awarded this medal. This medal, along with other awards, was listed in the commendations section of Pike's personnel file. (DIS: "Brother")

The award was one of the decorations held by Commander Data in 2365. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")

Archer's earning of the medal was confirmed in his personnel file for Archer, discovered aboard the USS Defiant by his counterpart in 2155. This means the award was established before his death in 2245.
A picture of Georgiou's medal was first tweeted by Ted Sullivan. [1] [2] At one point it was apparently intended to be placed in her bookshelf, as evidenced by a tweet by Star Trek: Discovery producer Aaron Baiers. [3]
