Starbase G-6 was a Federation starbase administered by Starfleet. This starbase was near the Sigma III system.
In early 2364, the USS Enterprise-D dropped off Deanna Troi at Starbase G-6 to take a shuttle to visit Betazed. (TNG: "Hide and Q")
According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), Starbase G-6 was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
