Starbase 212 was a Federation starbase administered by Starfleet.
In 2369, Chief Pendleton was assigned to this starbase. He was in charge of Starbase Communications. His department had an opening for a level two specialist.
That same year, the USS Enterprise-D asked the starbase to help in the search for Aquiel Uhnari. She later transferred from Relay Station 47 to Starbase 212 to wait for reassignment. (TNG: "Aquiel")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (page 65), Starbase 212 was located in the Beta Quadrant.
Starbase 212 was also briefly mentioned in the Star Trek: New Frontier, as well as in the Star Trek: Corps of Engineers series.
