This was a trivia game covering all four (at the time) STAR TREK series (TOS,TNG,DS9 and VOYAGER). The game was produced by Mattel in 2000.
The game consisted of four tokens representing the original Enterprise, the Enterprise-D, the USS Defiant and the USS Voyager, a board representing the four quadrants of the Star Trek universe, 20 Starfleet insignia-shaped markers representing the various series, four decks of trivia cards (one for each series) and one game die.
[NOTE: The TOS Cards included questions on the first 6 STAR TREK movies, and the TNG cards included questions on GENERATIONS and FIRST CONTACT.]
Object of the game was to circle the board, landing on spaces to answer questions based on the series and movies in five possible categories:

  • Tricorder Readings were questions based on events, objects and story lines.
  • Life Forms quizzed the players on characters and species.
  • Astrometrics asked about locations, planets and major plot points.
  • Temporal Anomalies inquired about time, chronology, ages, dates, etc.
  • Q Continuum questions were General Knowledge questions, often delving into behind-the-scenes or all-over Trek-related questions.

Answering a question on a series in that series' quadrant earned an insignia marker in that series' color.
Special spaces on the board included the corner Wormholes [allowing movement to any other corner], Engage! [letting you move to any space of the same color as the Engage!], Lock Phasers! [letting you challenge another player for one of their insignias], and Borg Spaces [making you "defend" your last-earned insignia by answering another question on the corresponding series].
Getting one of each of the four color insignias allowed you to use a Wormhole space to move to the center Starfleet Command space, requiring you to answer one more question of the opponents' choice to win the game.
