Star Trek Calendar 1976

First Star Trek Calendar, 1976

The Star Trek Calendar is a series of officially licensed Star Trek calendars that have been produced for 49 years, begun by Ballantine Books in 1975 for the year 1976, which was in the midst of the spectactular resurgence of Star Trek: The Original Series in syndication. They featured images from episodes The Original Series.

From 1979 through 2012, the calendars were produced by franchise print publisher Pocket Books, but distributed by Andrews McMeel Publishing. Imagery from the first six Star Trek films were henceforth also featured in the calendar series. As of the 2013 issue, the calendars have been produced by Universe Publishing in the US; different versions of the calendars have been produced in the UK by Danilo.
