The Dominion War is a series of 4 novels set at the beginning of the Dominion War. Books 1 and 3 focus on the crew of the Enterprise-E while books 2 and 4 are novelizations of the 7 episode arc that began with DS9: Call to Arms and ended with DS9: Sacrifice of Angels.

Later, an anthology entitled Tales of the Dominion War collected a series of short stories based on the same conflict.
