Fifty Human spinning wheels belonging to the Neo-Transcendentalists were among the manifest of the colony ship SS Mariposa when it launched from Earth in 2123. Data defined it as a device for spinning yarn or thread that consists of a large foot or hand driven wheel and one spindle (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder")
