SWAT Leader

A SWAT team leader

The Special Weapons and Tactics (or SWAT) division was a part of the United States of America law enforcement system. SWAT teams were the most elite units of the police force, and they were used only in light of extreme circumstances.

In 2024, SWAT teams took over San Francisco's Sanctuary District A during the Bell Riots. At the time, a group of District employees had been held hostage by disenchanted residents, and the SWAT teams were acting under orders from Governor Robert Chen of California based on rumors that the hostages were dead. However, they found the hostages very much alive thanks to the efforts of Gabriel Bell. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")
