A spatial disruption or spatial fluctuation was a type of phenomenon which caused changes in the space-time continuum.

In 2370, Benjamin Sisko speculated that a virus or some kind of spatial disruption was responsible for a series of improbable events happening aboard Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Rivals")

In 2372, the subspace divergence field encountered by the USS Voyager initially caused minor spatial fluctuations. (VOY: "Deadlock")

Spatial disruptions occurred inside the Q Continuum as a result of the Q Civil War in 2373. These disruptions caused a number of stars to implode, creating supernovae. (VOY: "The Q and the Grey")

The same year, the cloaking devices used by the Voth caused spatial fluctuations with a modulating phase variance, which could be detected by the Voyager. (VOY: "Distant Origin")

In 2376, a dark matter lifeform caused spatial disruptions which could be detected by the Delta Flyer. (VOY: "Good Shepherd")
