Skon was a Vulcan, an ancestor of Sarek and Spock, native of the Vulcan city Shi'Kahr. He translated the teachings of Surak into English. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock; ENT: "Two Days and Two Nights")
- It isn't clear exactly what relation Skon was to Sarek, and thus, Spock - the line states "Sarek, child of Skon, child of Solkar", indicating either a parental or grandparental relation. Following the traditional Vulcan name nomenclature, Skon should be male, and thus, Sarek's father.
