In the mirror universe, [{Zefram Cochrane (mirror)|Zefram Cochrane]] owned a shotgun. During the historical Earth event known as First Contact, Cochrane used the shotgun to kill the first Vulcan who stepped onto Terran soil.
In 2155, Jonathon Archer owned the shotgun. He presented it to his first officer, T'Pol, to remind her that she was under Archer's command.
