shomi is a Canadian subscription video streaming service launched in November 2014 by Rogers Communications. When it first launched, it required a subscription to a supported television provider to obtain access, but as of August 2015, it became available as a stand-alone service. It competes directly with similar streaming services such as Netflix and CraveTV.

shomi has both the The Original Series and The Next Generation available for streaming.

On 30 March 2016, it was announced that beginning 15 April 2016, they would add the 6 original Star Trek movies to their streaming service. [1]
