Shirley Bonne (born 22 May 1934; age 89) is the actress who appeared in Star Trek: The Original Series, playing the woman known only as Ruth in the episode "Shore Leave". She filmed her scenes on Friday, 21 October 1966 at Africa, USA and on Monday, 24 October 1966 at Vasquez Rocks. [1]
Bonne was the star of the short-lived 1960s sitcom My Sister Eileen. She also had an uncredited role in the 1963 film Template:IMDb-name, as did TOS actor James Doohan.
