Shilat

Shilat was a crew member aboard a Kantare vessel that was disabled by an ion storm. He, along with most of the other crew members, were killed when the vessel crashed. Holographic versions of Shilat and other crew members were thereafter created by Ezral, to keep his daughter company. The Enterprise NX-01 crew realized the ruse when they discovered the corpse of the real Shilat in an orbiting escape pod. Charles Tucker III recognized him as a Kantare he saw alive on the surface just an hour prior. (ENT: "Oasis")

In the final draft script of "Oasis", a note specified, "Shilat's wardrobe is very distinctive and unique from the [other Kantare]." Shilat was played by Donald Sage Mackay in an uncredited role.
