Sheldon Peters Wolfchild (born 1946) is the actor who played Joe Falling Hawk in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Time's Arrow" in 1992. His tribe is Lakota and resides in Morton, Minnesota.
Prior to his work on Star Trek, Wolfchild appeared in episodes of Sesame Street (1977-1979) and L.A. Law (1991, with Corbin Bernsen, Larry Drake, Sam Anderson, and Branscombe Richmond), the western The Avenging (1982, with Mark Margolis and Dan Koko), the television western Son of the Morning Star (1991, with Terry O'Quinn, Nick Ramus, Tim Ransom, Robert Schenkkan, and Dean Stockwell), and Kevin Costner's Academy Award winning western Dances with Wolves (1990, with Charles Rocket, Wayne Grace, Donald Hotton, and Michael Horton).
