Serena Sande (24 December 192818 July 2001; age 72) was the actress who played the Second Talosian in the Star Trek: The Original Series original pilot episode "The Cage". Footage of this appearance later appeared in the first season episodes "The Menagerie, Part I" and "The Menagerie, Part II", and the Star Trek: Discovery second season episode "If Memory Serves".

She filmed her scenes between Wednesday 9 December 1964 and Friday 11 December 1964, at Desilu Culver Stage 15 and Stage 16.

Between the early 1950s and the early 1970s, Sande appeared on a number of television series, usually in smaller guest roles. Her credits include episodes of The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, Jane Wyman Presents the Fireside Theatre, Jungle Jim (directed by Don McDougall), The Flying Nun (with Lois Jewell, Susan Howard, and Michael Pataki), and The Mod Squad (starring Clarence Williams III and Tige Andrews, with Erik Holland, directed by Don McDougall).

She also appeared in uncredited roles in the 1956 Biblical epic The Ten Commandments (with Judith Anderson, Larry Dobkin, Michael Ansara, Arthur Batanides, Tony Dante, Robert Herron, and Carl Saxe) and the 1962 adventure film Escape from Zahrain (with Madlyn Rhue, Anthony Caruso, and Joseph Ruskin).

She had supporting roles in the 1956 films Ghost Town (with Al Wyatt) and Jungle Hell, and the 1959 film Okefenokee.
