Security report

A security report was a report utilized on Federation Starfleet starships and space stations to summarize recent security issues of or suspected to be related to criminal behavior such as theft, unauthorized systems access, and unexplained systems damage. It was one of the responsibilities of the chief of security to give the commanding officer security reports.

In 2373, Constable Odo fell behind on his security reports while caring for an infant Changeling. (DS9: "The Begotten")

Lieutenant Tuvok provided Captain Kathryn Janeway a three-page security report on a PADD during the USS Voyager's stopover at a Markonian outpost outlining incidents that supported Tuvok's concern with the high volume of visitors from the outpost. (VOY: "Survival Instinct")

Tuvok also attempted to discuss with Janeway a security report during the Antarian Trans-stellar Rally of 2377, but the captain was focused on the ongoing race. (VOY: "Drive")

Tuvok referred to the report in Survival Instinct as for "this morning", and in Drive as his "weekly" report, implying that he filed security reports in those intervals, or at least had increased intervals during periods of higher security risk.

Nygean Detention Force personnel also utilized security reports. While aboard Voyager, Warden Yediq filed a report that Neelix had access to and mentioned that Yedig's life was threatened by one of his prisoners Joleg after the prisoner attempted to escape captivity. (VOY: "Repentance")
