Comics creator Scott Lobdell (born 1963) is well-known for his work on various Marvel Comics flagship titles throughout the 1990s, such as The X-Men. In 1996 he wrote "Star Trek - X-Men", the first crossover between Star Trek and a superhero franchise.

He went on to write the script for the film Happy Death Day, which was released in 2017.
