Real World article
(written from a Production point of view)

Scott Hampton (born 10 April 1959; age 57) is a comic book writer and artist, specializing in painting.

Following his elder brother's footsteps, Hampton entered the industry at the start of the 1980s, working for Warren Publishing. Over the years, he worked on a wide variety of titles including Clive Barker's Hellraiser, J. Michael Straczynski's Babylon 5, Batman, and Simon Dark with Steve Niles.

In addition to his comics work, he illustrated cards for Magic: The Gathering by Wizards of the Coast and has also done work in film.

His only Star Trek work came when he worked with David Brin on the title "Forgiveness" for WildStorm Comics in 2001, painting the entire book. Two years later, the two collaborated again on The Life Eaters, also for WildStorm.
