Schlezholt's Theory of Multiple Big Bangs was a theory that related to big bangs.

This theory was debated by many Federation cosmologists. Many of them tried to disprove it. However, an assumption that Schlezholt's Theory hung on, known as Wang's Second Postulate, had to be ignored in order to do so, and this proved impossible to do. In speaking about the subject with one of her crewmen, Mortimer Harren, USS Voyager Captain Janeway described Wang's Second Postulate as having "more lives than a cat". (VOY: "Good Shepherd")
