Doctor Sarah April was the first chief medical officer aboard the USS Enterprise, under the command of her husband, Captain Robert April from 2245 to 2250.

As the chief medical officer aboard the Enterprise, Dr. April designed a number of new procedures and medical instruments used in starship sickbays.

When the crew of the Enterprise found themselves reverting back to their childhood states, she looked after them while Robert took command. She expressed a desire to live her life again, but her husband talked her out of it. (TAS: "The Counter-Clock Incident")

Sarah April was voiced by Nichelle Nichols.
