Sanders was a Starfleet Ensign who served aboard Deep Space 9 under Captain Benjamin Sisko in the early 2370s.
In 2372, Odo informed Morn that Ensign Sanders was looking for him when he had a discussion with three Klingons. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
- The name sounded much more like "Saunders" than "Sanders", according to the pronounciation of the name in the dialog.
