Part of the Marina Green
The Marina Green was a small San Francisco park existing in the late 20th century. It consisted of a large patch of grass along the waters of the San Francisco Bay.
In 1986, the road besides the Marina Green was the site of a chance encounter between James T. Kirk and Spock, and Gillian Taylor, all of them returning from the Cetacean Institute to the city. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home)
