Crewman Samno aboard the USS Enterprise-A in 2293.
Samno was an enlisted Starfleet crewman who served aboard the USS Enterprise-A, under Captain James T. Kirk in the late-23rd century.
In 2293, Yeoman Burke and Samno were stationed in the transporter room during the initial meeting with Klingon Chancellor Gorkon and his party. Both Samno and Burke would make racial comments about the Klingons after they had left the transporter room.
Following the departure of the Klingon contingent, Gorkon's flagship, the battle cruiser IKS Kronos One, was attacked by a cloaked Bird-of-Prey in an attempt to stop the Gorkon peace inititive. Once the attack disabled the artificial gravity, Burke and Samno beamed over to the Kronos One and assassinated Gorkon and several members of his crew and staff.

Samno's spacesuit and uniform had the rank insignia of a crewman, but the script of Undiscovered Country contains the spelling "Yeomen Burke and Samno", indicating they were both yeomen. If one must be promoted from crewman to petty officer to become an non-commissioned officer, and named yeoman, then it would make more sense if the dialog were "Yeoman Burke... and Samno", indicating one had a title (as Burke's PO insignia designates), and the other (Samno) did not.
He was played by stuntman Alan Marcus.
