Background Information
- Originally scheduled for release in April 2008, the novel was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The cover art had to be altered (from preview covers posted online and in catalogs) when the depiction of a deceased actor who had played an Organian in TOS could not be approved through his estate. The cover artist superimposed an Organian glow over the image.
