SR-47 was an inhabited astronomical object in space outside the Sol system. SR-47 was located less than 90 light years from Earth, in a region of space between sectors 184/02 and 185/38 and near the Ficus sector. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder", okudagram; ENT: "Two Days and Two Nights")
In 2120, the SS Seattle was launched from Earth on a diplomatic mission to SR-47. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder", okudagram)
In "Two Days and Two Nights", the Enterprise, a NX-class starship, set a milestone in 2151 by becoming the first Earth ship to travel 90 light years from its homeworld.
In the remastered version of "Up The Long Ladder", SR-47 replaced ADR looping.
