Ronald "Ron" Jarvis is a writer who co-wrote with Philip A. Scorza the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Disaster". Jarvis and Scorza were interviewed by Joe Nazzaro for the The Official Star Trek: The Next Generation Magazine, Vol. 23, p. 32-35 in June 1993 for the article "Ron Jarvis & Philip A. Scorza: Masters of 'Disaster'".

Jarvis previously wrote the story for The Munsters Today episode "Murder in Munsterland" in 1989, also with Scorza. He previously worked as an actor on the drama The Shepherd (1984) and episodes of Webster (1984, with Eugene Roche), Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1986), and Family Ties (1989, with Brian Bonsall).

More recently, Jarvis worked as location manager on the thriller Intimate Nights (1998) and the adult movies The Seven Deadly Sins (1999), Roommates (2000), Forbidden (2002), Bad Movie Police Case #1: Galaxy of the Dinosaurs (2003), and Bad Movie Police Case #3: Humanoids from Atlantis (2004).
